Desoto Falls is near fort Payne where I grew up! This is one of the most beautiful places I have seen in Alabama! it has a Beautiful water fall and I have also found some very awesome Caves near! It is famous for being an Indian escape! The Indians could fight off a whole army from under the Water Falls! It was so hard to get under the falls and one person could only pass at a time! One person could fight off a whole army! |

High Falls Located near Geraldine Alabama, it is one of Dekalb Counties most beautiful places! It is located Downstream from Geraldine and has a Arch Rock! It is locally famous for jumping off of! I hear people say it is Near 35 feet but I think it may be higher that that! You can hike all around the area, just be careful it can be dangerous! In the winter the water can get pretty high! |

Sand Rock Alabama (we called it little Rock City!) I have camped here several times and it has one of best views found in Alabama! AS man know, Sand Rock World Renowned for it's great boulders! They are larger than houses and the perfect place to sit down and look over a beautiful lake scene! Just so you know! They don't like parties and the County will come buy and want to meet you! My friend Steve had to pour out a half gallon of Crown on his Birthday! Perfect place any times of the year! Just south from Collinsville or North of Leesburg! |

Bucks Pocket This is located only 5 miles from where I grew in Fyffe Al! It is truly one of the most awesome pockets in Alabama! There are hiking Trails all the down the creek to Morgan's Cove Near Lake Guntersville! Great place to Hike and Camp! From the top of the pocket is and awesome view and wonderful afternoon hike! |
